Choosing a Reiki Master: This a very personal thing and you should feel as though guided to your Master. Of course not everyone understands this but basically you must feel as though that Master is the right one for you. Your Master should be your mentor and you will learn from each other. Whether your journey just takes you to first degree or through to Master Teacher level, try to stay with the Mikao Usui lineage. Do not be afraid to ask any questions that come to mind. Your Master should be willing and able to answer your questions. If he or she does not know, should be able to find the answer for you. We are all human and cant possibly know everything. Here are some questions you should ask yourself . |
| Question 1 |
Ask what their lineage is. The LWF Lineage is:- Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, Phyllis Lei Furumoto William Lee Rand Adele Rafferty, Heather Buglear, B.W.Califf. |
Question 2 |
Ask how long the course is run over:- The LWF Courses are usually run at weekends Sat & Sun 9am -4.30pm both days however a course can be held at other times to suit your requirements. After the two days attendance students must participate in a written element over a 6 week period and complete a test paper for assessment. Lunch is provide during your course. |

Ask how much the course costs and when it should be payable: The LWF costs are |

Ask what you receive on completion of the course i.e. Certificate and or manual: The LWF present 1st 2nd 3rd/Masters & Master Teacher
Manuals on the last day of each course. |
| Question 5 | Are there any compulsory aspects to the course. The LWF insist on Insurance from the 1st degree at £56.50 and SCMA membership £30 |
| Question 6. | Ask how many students they have taught and to what degree level: The LWF have trained in excess of 700 1st & 2nd Degree practitioners including three independent Master Teachers, four LWF Master Teacher & six Masters. |

Ask how many students are taken in each course: LWF Courses can be presented one a one to one basis with another practitioner present but no more that 4-6 students are taken in any course unless other Masters are present |

Ask where your Master teaches.The LWF offer courses in Argyll, Ayrshire, Dunoon, Glasgow & Lochaber |

Ask if your Master is affiliated to any groups or organisations The LWF chairs the SCMA, Learn Direct Scotland, UHI Millennium Institute, Hi~Arts, HICCaP, UKRLP |

Ask if they are insured. All The Lightworkers Foundation practitioners are insured from 1st Degree and the LWF can provide practitioner insurance on request to therapists form other disciplines. The LWF Is also approved inspectors of Independent Reiki Teachers & Training Centres |

sessions & support. The Lightworkers Foundation, was founded to further the understanding,
